hi guys

My name is Michele. A California girl. A wife and a mom first.

As my kids are growing up, I find that I have a lot more time in my day to do the other things that I love.

Before I started this little boutique photography studio, I was a preschool teacher in Los Angeles. I struggled with being a caregiver to others all day, then coming home without having the amount of patience needed to be my kid’s mom. When my youngest entered 1st grade I left teaching and started learning the art of photography. These past 10 years I have tried to master the balance of home and work life. Sometimes it’s 50/50 and sometimes it is 90/10, but everyday it is 100% worth it.

I currently fill my days with dog walks, photography and working as a support teacher at Ascension Lutheran Early Childhood Center. I entered back into teaching last year when my eldest son went away to college. I love being surrounded by children, though I will say having teenagers is pretty awesome. I do love watching them grow.

I love teaching and I love photography. I am blessed that I get to do both at this time in my life. With a studio just 7 minutes from my house and a teaching job even closer, I get to experience the magic of children every day of the week.

I started working over 30 years ago and have added grace, compassion and a lot of patience in the many years that followed. What I bring to you now is a woman filled with confidence and knowledge, education and creativity, humility and the ability to laugh at myself and most importantly the unwavering desire to continue to try new things.
